SW 100 Introduction to Social Welfare

Designed for the beginning Social Work and Addiction Studies major, students will examine the social work field, understanding the nature, scope, and functions of the helping professions (e.g. social services, family and child welfare, criminal justice, addictions and mental health), and the role of the individual as a social work professional.
