Math for elementary teachers will explore current research into methods for teaching mathematics at the elementary level, and how these methods are best implemented.

This is a course designed to prepare students for Calculus I. The course content includes algebraic, polynomial, rational, logarithmic, exponential and trigonometric functions, parametric equations and the polar coordinate system. The other topics include harmonic motion, polar co-ordinates, complex numbers, vectors and dot product, hyperbola, parabola and much more.
